Mr Brugman is guilty of bringing horse racing into disrepute?.

Gold Circle has noted the comments made by Markus Jooste's Racing Manager, Mr Derek Brugman, during an interview following Race 2 at Kenilworth today and wishes to treat his observation regarding Scottsville with the contempt it deserves.
Further, Gold Circle trusts that the NHA will investigate whether by making these comments, Mr Brugman is guilty of bringing horse racing into disrepute.

He never said goat track.
He said thought goats should run at this track as they may perform better than his million rand horses.

Things a bit sensitive in that part of the world..........any attempt to divert the attention.
I think the "protectionism" actions of Gold Circle are alienating themselves from the other racing provinces and that they may eventually regret their "we don't need your horses running here" attitude!
Can a "them and us" situation benefit them?

Well then maybe he should send some of his 'mountain goats' to KZN
But on a more serious note imvho, I agree with dynasty, the incident on Sunday is a much better example of 'bringing horse racing into disrepute' :
