Derek Brugman was always going to have to discuss the horses programme .........he expressed where it WON'T run and WHY.......if you don't want an honest answer ,don't ask.
The horse won't run there ...........(I presume no Jooste horses will run there?)..........argue all you like .........who cares if you agree or disagree........... .only his opinion counts ........it is the authority he has been given by the owner!! .......and you will notice Jooste did not consult with anybody here before appointing him X(

DB does not have an inflated ego, and would have gained nothing from entering into an extended spat. A quick 'sorry' was the simplest way to put and end to this. Not that I think GC would have gone ahead with a disciplinary of any kind.
GC just over sensitive after the Clairwood balls up. If DB rather had said they have crap starting gates in Natal and they won't race horses there cause of injury fears, would they have put out the same press release. Me think not.

Scottsville is my FAV track, just wish the property would get rid of the damn extractor fan at the entrance to the track from parade ring...
More horses scratched and jockeys have been injured by this monstrosity than any inconsistent surface, faulty gate or crazy mount

Chippy, I think that anyone that actually goes to Scottsville and races there and sees how well Enos has done with it actually leave there knowing that it is a great track to race at.The problem is it is to easy for some trainers to blame the track at Scottsville when their horse does not run up to expectations, rather than blame the horse/themselves! Some people listen to that bullsh!t and believe it. RF there are many of Mr Jooste's horses trained by Natal trainers so I am sure we will see those colours at Scottsville.
