I'm talking from a business point of view Phumelela r looking for turnover to boost the pools they not gonna get it from the pick 6. Make the p a 4 places and see how the pool rockets there may be more winners yes but that money will be rolled back in the next meeting. The more the punter wins the more the pools r boosted

With the payouts its going to do the same as it did with Jckpot payouts , you only want to catch it 20% of the time to make big bucks

Unless you have 100k to invest in each P6, you will be lucky to win the P6 about 2% of the time........

Lets see Tommy , I am exited about this change and will give it a good go because the guys that do their homework WILL benefit

I will bet an average of 20% on an average 20k perm , just my plan to start , my jackpot strategy still running very good and will take that same approach to a exotic with 50% more legs but 100x more value

I wish you all the best blou.

The proof, I guess, will be in the size of the P6 pools going forward. I hope it revitalizes P so much that they can add some value to the local product because of all the money they made off the large P6 pools...............

The new rule will make it tough on the punters in the tote...So i feel for them...But personally i welcome the new change,as it will be a good challenge!

Let me ask this. Where do you think the largest part of the pools come from?

From syndicates or large punters or from the tens of thousands of R20 punters?

Anyway like I said, I hope nothing but the best for your strategy, anything to improve the lot of the game is a good thing.

there are going to be carryovers, wonder what will be the policy regarding that, would be nice to play into a pool where you kick of with 3M and new pool get added on so that you will be betting into a pool, of 6M and even if you then catch 1% you are looking @ R60 000 which for the small punter will be substantial,
i can for see small betting syndicates who will be exclusively play P6, i for one would join such syndicate let say 100 okes each giving R500 a week or month

it would all be how you structure your bets, for instances i have a rule which i stick to without fail, I play the field in the last leg, no way surviving 5 legs to go out last leg, even if the fav is odds on it does not matter, when i reach leg 6 the only worry i want is how much I will collect

this policy has saved my bacon few times.
but i think in future i will change my strategy they way i see it is to go light in first few legs and maybe a banker somewhere with the field in last 2 legs effectively creating a 4 leg P6

would like to hear your views on how to structure your P6 IN future :S

I'm with Rob here....couplings were allowed to stop stable manipulations or the perception of stable manipulations....so now...what's changed....
we use punters greed to allow corruption to occur....:S
