And this – “I would talk to VODACOM to reconsider their sponsorship for such abusing surface “(sic).
Seriously?
Fingers ,maybe its just you and me .............what you have expressed here,is exactly how my mind responded to the outburst!
(and if hes selling up because Robert Bloomberg believed Abashiri had no chance at the weights, and he needs his horses to be tipped to please him ,then cheers (Horse Chestnut was not run as a 3 yr old due to a similar weight, and Abashiri is no HC).his own trainer(not known to be a pessimist) thought running it was ill advised.)

Well I for one hope he pulls strings at Vodacom and rocks KZN racing to its inner core.

Bob
A little birdie told me so . Read Both Articles " Who in South Africa refer to Joe As The Brit. ? " Also the sarcasm in both is very close and both articles are written very in the same type of Arogance.
Don't want to say much more , I just hope Humpty Dumpty is proud of his actions.

The way in which the whole debacle has been handled is somewhat questionable.....
Sporting Post reports on a Facebook article regarding VV opinions, rightly or wrongly so, but you then have Humpty Dumpty have a full go from behind a Pseudonym. Should the editor have looked long and hard at this? maybe...
Everyone is entitled to their opinion and whether or not ABA should have run is really irrelevant to me as is all the soothsayers post race opinions. I say this on the balance of what i have read regarding the Legal Eagle & Rabada program or is everyone wearing blinkers? Maybe it is the common owner who nobody mentions anything about...... ooooh sorry it is the racing manager that runs everything.
The fact remains that you have an owner who highlights the state of the track which is his main point.
Does nobody else find it strange that immediately after the FB post by VV the following happens;
1. Humpty Dumpty or "Coward" posts a no holds response that would lead me to suspect that they have another agenda.
2. Why did sporting post not insist they use their name if they are going to post such a personal response???
3. The ceo of Phumelela immediately releases an article regarding why horse racing will not fail....this was out of left field. When last did he write something on SP?
4. Rabada is moved from the trainer that found him and got two Grade 1 wins with him.
I suppose this is all coincidence.
The opening to J Ramsdens latest article in SP is a disgrace, Sporting Post needs to remember that JR is not a journalist and exercise some responsible editorial overview. I do not care for Ramsden's personal feelings on Jacob Zuma or SP taking for granted that the readers would accept it.
JR can go back home, unless he has given up his British passport, and go sort out Tony Blair.

I thought JR article was excellent so it depends how you view it - plus Jacob we all know needs sorting out anyways so who cares about the opening statement anyways you missing the point it has nothing to do with racing.

Sometimes in the mix of matters we tend to forget that we are in the Southern tip of Africa and are fortunate not to have lived and encountered the many dictators and despots that rule the different countries in Africa.
TS puts it very well, our president Jacob Zuma pales in comparison to his other counterparts, not only in Africa but also abroad with the blood-soaked Blair and Bush leading the pack well clear in front.

I share the same sentiments. *reading the rest of the comments* and I am scratching my head and wondering how his comments is good for this game.

Some corrections to your post
1. Humpty Dumpty is a or "Coward"
2. Why did sporting post not insist they use their name if they are going to post such a personal response??? Their policy on the Mail Bag in which he posted under is different to the policy of the online platform .
3. The ceo of Phumelela immediately releases an article regarding why horse racing will not fail....this was out of left field. When last did he write something on SP? - He has never what a waste of space with his two cents worth.
4. Rabada is moved from the trainer that found him and got two Grade 1 wins with him.

Guys the horse moving was most amicable.. There were no sour grapes from both parties.. So please lets leave all the negativity alone .. I really would love to see RABADA do exceptionally well with BRETT as he did so well for me and Brett and I are mates.. One must realize it is a PRIVILEGE for a trainer to train a horse for an owner not his RIGHT.. over and out. - Does not sound like the crying baby we know he is
JR can go back home, unless he has given up his British passport, and go sort out Tony Blair. - Agreed but lets agree to call JR " The Brit " as in the Humpty Dumpty post and the Abishiri Has no Chance Article - OOOPS Could it be a coincidence that Both articles were written by the same person Mr Robert Bloomberg .
I really did not enjoy the disrespect of the Tongue in Cheek Bow at Zuma - Would The Brit do that to the Queen ? I agree " Go back home, unless he has given up his British passport, and go sort out Tony Blair. "

Just been told at Sibaya sale he took 20 to 30 staff dressed in abba gear
If one of them liked a mane or a name he bought them, massive loss if he goes

Racing cannot afford to lose enthusiastic young owners with buying power as they tend to be infectious and good advertising. Don't ever make the mistake of thinking that this type of loss will not have negative repercussions as offended people seldom leave quietly and will influence many others to either turn their back on racing or to never get involved.
The same applies to every single punter lost, big or small as the reality is that replacements are not exactly lining up.
Mr van Vuuren also needs to learn from this though as his reaction was not the most mature that I have seen but then again where family and and true passion is concerned it often hurts the most.
I for one hope that he has a change of heart as he is very good for the game and I would be delighted to see that the sport not be dominated by only one or two big owners.
