Agree...he should be picked as a test player and be allowed to play his normal game.

Yip, they have been on the receiving end for 4 days - hard to expect them to turn it around on day 5
While I have always been a supporter, I have been saying for a while, that unfortunately (with all the 'old guard' retiring) the only way for them is down - the sooner we can identify younger players that have what it takes, the better; we need a wicket-keeper (especially if AB is going to take over the captaincy), we need a quality spinner, and now we also need at least one other opener.
At the moment I don't know where we can find players to step into those positions - de Kock is probably not good enough technically to be either the opener, or even the wicket-keeper, (and definitely not both) - so the best position to blend him into the team is in the middle order (but at whose expense?)
Would be interesting to see what changes (if any) are made to the setup (including coaching staff) before the next series - when (and where) is that ?

Agree, but he is in great form at the moment (tu)
So who we going to fall back on now??? Tsolekile........that would be a mistake imo.
After all our discussion.....they will go with De Kock anyway

Well that's good (we can use those games to experiment with younger guys) and bad (not real quality opposition to test them) :S
