SA cricket and Man United are in the same boat.

Both have new coaches which nobody wants and both have lost their captains (Vidic leaving at the end of the season)

Nobody can tell me that both Smith and Kallis did not have at least 4 seasons left between them. Kallis had a great chance of overtaking Tendulkar but choose to retire. Something not right in that camp just as RVP will be rejoining Arsenal from Man United this summer

Should be a fasinating final session. The ball is now 26 overs old but Steve Smith is getting the ball to grip. Philander worries me as he is playing too many shots. Hopefully someone has a word with him at tea reminding him that 310 off 33 overs is a tall ask.

Philander can make himself a national hero this afternoon. I will send him 2 dozen of Krispy Kreams Donuts if he helps SA survive.

an hour before the scheduled close of play the umpire calls 15 overs. They must bowl those 15 overs even if it takes until 1900

There are 33 overs left after 18 overs are bowled the umpires will call the final hour in which a minimum of 15 overs must be bowled. They could bowl 2 spinners and get more than the 15 overs in the hour but the 30 mins extra is just there to avoid the game going an extra day if it can be finished and there is no day tomorrow.
