C&C, if you want to put yourself on the same level as some of these clueless - yes, clueless!! - yappers I encounter on other blogs, feel free. I didn't put you there.
When I first got interested in cricket, I so well remember the howls of Sack him! Sack him! that went up about Graeme Smith. He was everything that the bloggers hated and despised and they just couldn't see why the Proteas stuck with him as captain. Well, now they know.
I don't need to play cricket to see how people behave. Cricketers aren't a different species from me and everyone else I know.

I believe Micky Arthur has quit Twitter because of the abuse he's been getting there. I honestly don't know why anyone goes on Twitter in the first place ... fb is bad enough.
Interesting article on the SA Proteas and their chances of remaining No 1 team. Especially, the comments about politicking and financial greed outside the team changeroom are perceptive I thought.The writer is a balanced mix of positive and at the same time aware that SA's toxic political mess could close down on the Proteas at any moment.

@Mav:
Encouraging comments.
However, let's hope that we do not descend into that abyss of arrogance and disrespect which made the Aussies enemy No.1.
Some of the histrionics, facial contortions and inaudible (but catchable vulgarity/swearing/cursing) I witnessed by most of our Protea bowlers is disturbing and borders on a frightful complex.

England to beat the Aussies? I just hope that NZ can pick up those 6 wickets on the final day and thus win the series, a series that England suggested they just had to turn up to win. Arrogance and over confidence is a killer.
