ebony flyer had one crack against open company at wfa terms in the queens plate and we all know that result, igugu had one crack inopen company at weight conditions that didnt suit her at all compared if it was run at wfa and we know that result...maybe somebody can put the run ons on here and we will see that one filly is on an entirely different planet to the other

All of this doesn't mean much until Ebony Flyer returns to racing and proves she is over her setback, nor does winning the July automatically prove that Igugu is better than Ebony Flyer over 1600m.

Igugu all out to beat Pierre Jourdan by a length... that makes her a champion?

We can debate the 'ease'of victory.
But I ask again, does beating Piere by a length make her a champion?
Before you answer, the first TEN horses home finished with 3.5 lengths of the winner.

Igugu is pure class without a doubt but agree 100% with your statement that it was a close finish with at least 10 horses being within a few lengths of Igugu. But lets not take away what this filly has achieved. I firmly believe though that we are yet to see the best of Ebony Flyer. Well lets wait and see..

Let me put it differently.
At the weights, who recorded the highest rating?
Hint: it wasn't Igugu.
