So now I'm confused can someone please help. Zietsman has said the horse is well and and was retired! Did they find this horse at the Bush meeting and did it actually race? Like OTA says once retired it would fall out of NHA rules. But after what was said at its last official race as posted by Naresh why would the owner now run it at a Bush meeting. Zietsman says she's looking great and well cared for and NHA says it's been found competing at a Bush meeting? Am I reading this wrong. Just wondering.

Ok, I have just come from seeing the breeders that bred her that Zietsman was obviously talking about. This is their side of the story. From when she went to Kimberly they wanted her back to breed with. When the husband contacted Zietsman after they saw she was bush racing and that they had wanted her after racing in Kimberley to breed with( which the stable knew about) he was sworn at him on WhatsApp I think they said( was at Summerveld breakfast and noisy) and called him a fu..ing cu.t (on a number of occasions which his wife says she saw) and that they wanted R500k for the mare. They did offer R20k and then offered to pay for transport back here and all costs to a good stallion etc until the first foal got to a sale and then would pay 50% of the sale price to the owner. The conversation as you can understand did not end well but the offer of money still stands. That is the story told to me in front of 4 other people including a lawyer!

.....if one wants to be a future trainer.....best to do the right thing if you want to attract owners to place horses in your care .....that are not only confined to bush bashing venues......:dry:

Shes worth zip as a broodmare to breeders with zero black type so the fact that she won 12 races majority in flamingo means nothing plus she has had the guts raced out of her and is almost 9 so shes worthless

Harry that may be so but do you believe she should be subject to Bush racing at all??. She deserves to be retired and living with good care not being hammered at Bush races.

.....some nasty stuff here....dont think owners will be in such a hurry to send horses to these bundu bashers or bush whackers.....it cant be as glamorous as they try make out it is.....while regulated racing is trying to reduce the over use of whips/crops/sticks.....you can take a fan belt and get a 10yr old to show a new lease of life.....and when things go wrong make sure you have enough bullets in your revolver.....:S :S

Zietsman , they had already spoken to me about her last Saturday and if you read carefully I said that this was their story and I was sitting with a lawyer( actually 2) as her husband is also a lawyer and that was the story told. As for training, have you had a July runner with the 3rd horse you bought? Had runners in the Summer Cup, Charity Mile, Oaks, Drill Hall, Woolavington, Fever tree, Golden horse casino sprint and those are the ones off the top of my head while laughing at you? You not even close. My nose is anywhere where it looks like animals are not given the best treatment available after being loyal servants to a stable and just animals in general. There are the two of them that saw the sms's and who mentioned morning. So do what you want. I have witnesses from this morning.

Why would the breeders need to lie? That is exactly what they said and said they still prepared to buy her but at a market related price. I will see if they still have the conversation but I have no reason to not believe them. When or if they come to me and say they lied in front of everyone there, I will apologize to you without reserve. Are prepared to do the same if you wrong?
