If i may add my 2 cents then i would like to say that i fancy French Navy and would like/hope to see Master Switch get a place in the Final Field.

Same here - can't really blame the connections I suppose - what's that story about a bird in hand - anyway I also think he now has a very tough task at almost level weights with French Navy - not so sure about the 3 yr olds though - a lot depends on whether LE runs or not

Frodo after the weekend im firmly in the 3yo camp..the only 3yo in the race : exit here won the mainstay trial and then on sunday liege and amr Ferraris 3yo ran 1st and and 3rd in the feature ..liege and exit here are nowhere near the top 3yos in fact neither are nominated for the july

To counter that argument, I would say that that Exit Here won only because of a brilliant ride (and what seemed to be a slow pace - where's that sectional timing) while I'm not so sure that we can read a lot into the Jubilee form where Deo Juvente would have been the yardstick had he not gone wrong
But I have to confess that I am thoroughly confused at the moment - I also had a bet on Solid Speed at 66/1, which seems at this stage to be my best chance of having backed the winner - at least he likes the track, will come in with a handy weight, and the stable knows how to prepare July winners - also Randolph due a change of luck - the negative of course is that it seems that Delpech has chosen Black Arthur

So I am really hoping that Legal Eagle stays in, which would mean that all (including most of the 3 yr olds) bar 6 or 7 runners would come in under sufferance

Haven't been looking at much today and might have missed it. Any news on Deo Juvente, I see he is still around 20/1?

I am not convinced that Legal Eagle didn't handle Greyville ...........I think that the interference he suffered just never gave him a chance to show whether he did or didn't?
The fact that he handled the Turfontein inner track so well makes me think he should have no trouble with Greyville!
