I have just realized that by keeping Legal Eagle in the race, their other runners in the race are now under huge sufferance.

St Tropez, at the moment gets 4.5kgs from French Navy. Should have got 7kgs if Legal Eagle was already scratched.

French Navy/Rabada = 4.5kgs difference at the moment. Should have got 6.5kgs if Legal Eagle was already scratched.

The weights only can be raised proportionately now so even if Legal Eagle does get scratched they loose out.

So at the weights, if Legal Eagle stays in he would only face 7 competitors (6 if Deo Juvente comes out) that would not be under sufferance - seems crazy to even consider taking him out

In my opinion they will run Legal Eagle. Why will they jeopardize their other runners chances so drastically at the weights!!!!

Legal eagle must be jumping out of his skin at home for them to still keep him in even through the vitus in the yard etc

I think Tarry will scratch Legal Eagle.

Don't feel it's about jeopardizing the chances of other runners but about advancing the chances of his own.

This July is looking very open...
