How many horses on any given race day countrywide, in fact , worldwide, are reported to be " not striding out" , or "lame" ? not only in Kmb...

For that matter broke down it happens even when horses are working just ask wgc miller who had to put a horse down yesterday pirates they are horses are prone to injury be it training or racing so i dont see the relevance of ur post or arecu saying the jockey club vets are incompetent not 2 pick up that the horse was lame going down 2 the start

You will often here the commentator in the UK in the bumper races say that this horse is winner in a point to point race during the commentary and is having his first run under rules. At least the UK public has some sort of knowledge, we have none.

There has been plenty of betting coups landed in the UK after horses have returned from the gaffs to under the rules of racing,it`s ilegal to race at the gaffs if you are registered.
Point to points are more like provincial racing than gaff racing/bush racing

My answer pirate are no as the horse was past fit to race after her past canter at flamingo park that is the object of past canters not just fot the joy it and that was done by the jockeyclub vet the jockey would also reported if sumthing was wrong believe me they dont wanna ride a horse travelling 60k's an hour with very little brakes between 13 other horses and the possibilety of breaking down

What a disgraceful thread. Licenced trainers supporting bush racing and nothing done about it.

It is always sad for me when a horse that gives its everything in racing gets pushed beyond a well deserved retirement. I hope these parties can find a compromising solution for the good of the horse.

Good question Muhti? Him and a few others!!. Even more amazing this thread is 5 years old and in that time all the Bush nonsense has been going on. All of a sudden NHA do a raid. Wonder how many horses have been hurt and abused in alm this time. I'm with OTA on this how many trainers and owners from the big hole area are still active with this crap. What happened to the horse comes first.. that all the authorities scream about.
