Pujara has just been hit in the kidneys from close range by Cooke, that must have hurt.Full shot off the middle of the bat

SA still playing catch-up and faces an uphill battle - as long as Clarke and Hussy are at the crease, the Aussies won't be too stressed - however it would give SA a boost if they can bowl the Aussies out - thereby not giving them the opportunity to set a targe, but the fact that Clarke has been struggling to make contact does not bode well for our batsmen - anything above 300 will be too many I fear.

Quite a different pitch this time imo - but yes we can only hope (tu)

Yes, we can hope Frodo. Oz have the upper hand, and while Clarke and Hussey are there they will keep the upper hand. However, win, lose or draw, the Proteas have shown guts and determination, especially Kallis (who incidentally is unlikely to play in the Perth test as batting has aggravated his injury ... but will play out the second innings of this test).
The Ozzies may have removed their bails but they haven't removed their balls! Long live Test Cricket!

I can't Frodo but its readily available... can't get proper pipe tobacco at the moment so having to use Golden Virginia hand-rolled, sure you can pick some up easily enough. Sure helps with being an optimist...
< But you better pray I'm not right or i won't let you forget (

SA need a new spinner. Aussies are using part time bowlers and they achieving more than Tahir off the surface.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

India effectively 6 for 6 in their second innings. Still a long way to go but brilliant innings from the skipper and KP and now Monty showing the Indians how to spin a ball
Any comments anyone? Frodo perhaps...

I should have indicated that my 'smoking' statement was more about the Proteas than the English - but well done on the England call - looks like are past the post (tu)

lol I'll just about let you get away with that one
What price SA to draw???
I never celebrate until its done but looking very good and well deserved, played really good cricket in on India's home soil which is a really tough ask... think even you might say that England looked an above average side watching this one
