OK just seen it scroll it went to R1.40 in running
Was hoping to give the tote some positive press
This will happen with low pools where any sizable punt will reduce the payout. 😪

The win pool was over a Million

My account is still locked. When I phone ,I hang on for 10-15 minutes listening to shit background music. Sent about 10 e-mails already. No response. SHIT SERVICE all round. Waiting for 4 days already.

OK well that theory also gone was just trying to find a positive post in favour of using the tote for fancied horses .

They will have to find a fixed odds method to hold decent money via the tote?

the positive is the tote should be telling us which local races will be comingled and which bets will be shared - i bet you will get great payouts comingled exacta or win if the fav does not win but who knows which races we share unless you are punting permanently - the guy that places his bets early and checks results later does not know to bet into that pool

As far as 4RACING it's not going to be difficult to make a difference with the Tote and TT .
If you check the TT thread poor Cecil is still trying to find betting for the UK and giving the viewers an update on the free tab sheet and time form fancies 🥵

I actually can't find any bookie locally or international that has "not" had betting since at least 10.00 this morning or last night.

The French Tote punted into our pools from Race 2 to Race 5 only. Other foreign jurisdictions are also punting into our pools on any of our races for eg Australia and it can be any bet type if offered by that country. Did mention it, the Summer Quartet was caught by an Aus punter 1.02%. He collected around Aus$43k which is almost 500k. These foreigners are punting into the pools when they know there are carryovers coming into the pool.

Dave, you cannot rely on the tote odds at any point until the release of the all clear. Every bit of value gets sucked out the tote odds during the running of the actual race, and you see the outcome when you check the dividends. This is also why the presenters sound like real idiots when they point out a horse being 2/1 but paying R5 on the tote with 3 mins to go. Inevitably that horse will end up paying R2.40 for a win.

I also think the team that have taken over TT didn't know the system

.......any news on when there will be links to the web odds portal.....betting and watching the on screen ribbon not too grand for these old eyes.....would be nice when the tote/TAB gets its act together.....and not lag on race off times etc
