runners for Wednesday’s meeting on the Greyville turf track.
OCTOBER 22, 2019
Race 1
Wayne Badenhorst: No 8 Joint Effect – He may be a bit green having his first run at Greyville but is improving and should run a nice race.
Mark Dixon: No 4 Bleu Royale – He makes his debut at Greyville and will probably be green and need the experience No 12 Sonetlumiere – He makes his debut at Greyville and will probably be green and in need of the experience.
Shane Humby: No 1 Magic In Seattle – He returns to racing after 8 months off (Since his barrier trial) and he should need this run.
Nathan Kotzen: No 7 Hungry Eyes – Returns after a 3 month rest. Hoping for a place
Michael Roberts: No 13 Sonjador – He’s drawn wide and will need the experience
Race 2
Doug Campbell: No 8 Kildonan Bay – She is working well and although she has drawn a bit wide, I’m hoping she can finish in the money.
Mark Dixon: No 5 Blanchetta – She has a wide draw and will probably be green and in need of the experience.
Alistair Gordon: No 12 To The Max – She’s fit and well and has come on from her last run. Should run well
Shane Humby: No 2 Whiffler’s Joy – She has not raced since March this year and she will probably need the outing.
Garth Puller: No 3 Astute Vision – She’s coming along nicely but may still need this run.
Michael Roberts: No 7 Desert Glow – He is still a bit green and will need the experience. No 4 Justadoreher – May find the others a bit strong for her but she could hopefully sneak into the Quartet
Race 3
Dennis Drier/Stuart Ferrie: No 2 Dieci – She ran below par last time out but could possibly sneak into the Quartet.
Duncan Howells: No 1 Beat It – She has a lighter weight than she has been carrying in her last few races and back at Greyville, she should be in the first four. No 4 Wildly In Love is an honest filly and always gives her best.
Tony Rivalland: No 9 Extravargent – He’s put up some nice work and has an each-way chance
Michael Roberts: No 6 Winter Sun – She ran on well from a bad draw last time out and she should be a big runner here.
Race 4
Duncan Howells: No 5 Coldhardcash is a different horse since racing with the cornel collar and he should again give a good account of himself.
Michael Roberts: No 2 Kingsmead – He comes back after almost 3 months off but he is well and is not without a chance.
Race 5
Doug Campbell: No 10 Kentucky Spur – Will be trying the blinkers and I’m hoping he can run into the placings. No 12 King’s Cove – He tries a longer trip but has drawn very wide. Quartet inclusion.
Brett Crawford/Peter Muscutt: No 13 Isikheto – Has been disappointing of late but has not had the best of luck in running with the apprentices. He has Craig Zackey up on Wednesday and although he has a wide draw, he could finish in the money
Nathan Kotzen: No 8 Merlin From Berlin – Improved last two runs on the Polytrack. Has an each-way chance
Race 6
Doug Campbell: No 8 Declaration Of War – He has once again drawn out wide but he is working very well and with a bit of luck in running should be right there at the finish. No 1 Master George – He settled well in running in his last start and ran on nicely at the end. If he settles again, he should be in the firing line.
Garth Puller: No 9 Great Guy – He’s not well drawn but is doing well at home and if the 1800m trip is not a bit beyond him, he could make the frame. No 14 Twice Golden – He should enjoy the longer trip but may just be in need of the run.
Race 7
Wayne Badenhorst: No 3 Amor Ardiente – He’s doing very well at home and I’m expecting a good run.
Brett Crawford/Peter Muscutt: No 6 GG’s Dynasty – He returns to racing after a 4 month break and will improve with the run.. He is a consistent performer and should be in the money.
Dennis Drier/Stuart Ferrie: No 9 Blackburn Roc – He has solid form to his credit and has a definite chance. No 7 Sea Dance – Has his first run for the stable. His Jhb form is good and we’re hoping for a decent run
Alistair Gordon: No 5 Good Rhythm – He’s fit and well and had a cracking good last run. It is a competitive field he takes on but he should give a very good account of himself.
Michael Roberts: No 8 Enjoy The View – He’s a nice horse. He does come back after a rest but with his lightweight should run a big race
Race 8
Wayne Badenhorst: No 1 Class Of Eight – She has a better draw this time and she should give a good account of herself.
Mark Dixon: No 9 Jackson Wells – Put up a promising barrier trial but she may still be green and in need of this run.
Duncan Howells: No 10 Light Jade – She’s not a bad filly and although she may still be green, she could make the back end of Quartets
Michael Roberts: No 13 Tupelo Honey – She’s a nice filly and if not too green, she should be in the shake-up.

Ode the banker of the day.
Gold hard cash should be there.
R6 Yukta's Dance, I'm hearing this horse is ready already back in from 10 to 7.
My trebles and doubles for the day

HAMMAM (E/W)
CONFUSE HAMMAM WITH HAMHAM...LIKE WHEN A KID IS DRIVING AN IMAGINARY CAR
Moves into a better Barrier gate with the scratching!
Some horses may need the run after gelding...Others can just go HamHam past the finish line
Eg.Charles on Saturday
