Race 2 Greyville... Why does De Melo always get beaten on a favourite, this time on ODE?

Surely he used up all his excuses to the various owners and trainers of these horse he failed to ride properly...

He is getting away with murder.
Is he smiling all the way to the bank or is he just a shitty jockey?

Just asking...

What could De Melo have done differently ? He had the crop in the left hand, the horse wanted to shift left. He changed to the right hand, the horse wanted to shift right.... So he waved the crop to try and keep the horses mind on the job and barring 1 horse (the eventual winner), who was able to be ridden out properly...

He jumped perfectly, had his mount in the perfect position coming into the home straight....

Imvho, i think it is unfair to have such a go at De Melo, when the horse clearly still needs schooling.....

S.O.S ... same old sht.

9 out of 10 jockeys would have won that race, De Melo is the one who havent..

Always excuses of a horse shifting this side or that side, changed crop, this and that, face it, he, like most Jocks only wins with horses they want to win with.

You cant make a horse win, but you definitely can make a horse loose ... and jockeys do that with such pressicion they judge their run so that winning or loosing, with a short head!

Agree... Muzi, what a jockey!

Hope De Melo watch the replay and learn how to push a ride to get the best result!
