Fact - the horse should never have run in the July-- Who pushed for that?
You as an owner have a little thing called an Authority to Act... If you felt the horse should not have been entered for the Queens Plate then a simple fax to the Jockey club would have stopped that ... you could have moved your horse to another trainer instead of waiting for the race and then crying on Facebook. Maturity and Business Acumen are necessary when you own racehorses

Very interesting .......a much bigger issue is that "training runs " in races are not only condoned by our esteemed regulators, they have almost become encouraged!

Although the Van Vuurens were huge ,they were also newbies and,as has been stated so often, the problem of failed regulation is that its the newbies (whether owners or punters) who are most discouraged because, due to their fresh approach and naivety, they haven't been brainwashed into ..."they just flesh and blood" or "you cant get horses fit at home" etc etc.

To all those who expressed their disappointment at losing the Van Vuurens to the game, lets see you stand up and support their concerns!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes with due respect everyone is saying we can't afford to lose owners like this to racing. Well throwing the toys out now for a second time maybe indicates what we have. If you want out just get out its your choice. This paints the real picture. It's in poor taste as was the last rant after the July. I say go .

"20/1 but I assume your part of the whole scam.....please tell me does it say on the race cards to punters......please dont bet on this horse he jockey have been told to run waaaaay last and he wont even almost place....NO....the money gets taken and Abashiri fans are disappointed !! It is FRAUD !!!"

A quote from this owner on her facebook page --
I think the stipes need to charge the owner or the trainer -
If the owner can prove this(I doubt it very much as the poor horse has had extensive vet work and has been unsound for months) then r Azzie has to explain why he gave instructions to the jock to run "waaaay last" . This owner is openly saying Azzie and Jock committed FRAUD... I think perhaps the Orange colours will move onto another owner soon.
