the only southern hemisphere that can win it imho are the Aussies. One of England, Wales or Australia will be out after the group stages as they are in the same group. Think it will be Wales as they have gone backwards.
Ireland and France are the two northern teams with the biggest shout. Should be good but they are going to mess up football stadiums like Villa Park and St James Park especially when they scrum and if its wet.

not here Dave, as history tells us that they don't perform well in world cups outside of NZ. (Yes they made the 95 final but that was only because they hade that sensational Jonah Lomu in their team) They just don't travel well in World Cups.

Basically BOK are due to meet NZ ( unless Scotland knock them out  ) www.bet.co.za/ are going to refund upto R500 back in vouchers if you back the BOK and NZ beat them in the semi
t&c apply obv

SA pool in the WC
South Africa
Japan
Samoa
Scotland
USA
if Meyer still in charge then expect to lose to Samoa (vastly improved side) and Scotland especially if the wind is blowing off the North Sea into Newcastle.

HM will still be talking about Northern hemisphere and Southern hemisphere rugby !! Just play rugby based on the strengths of the best players available...

@Bob...not disagreeing...you are better placed and knowledgeable regarding the conditions there...
Aus are a SH country and have won two World Cups playing running rugby in Europe and England are a NH country that won a World Cup in Australia...they did so by playing predominantly to their strengths of their players and not solely to the conditions...
