Well done to Meyer as by winning is one way of shutting up critics as myself for a few days.

Unfortunately I am still a critic
, I think I will continue to be a critic of his until proven wrong... And unfortunately that will only come when we have beaten the bigger sides... Beating samoa doesn't cut it for me unfortunately... Imvho, he still made errors in our starting team, but the Vermuelen's, Du Preez, etzebeth really did step up... Altthough he didn't have a bad game at all, I honestly cannot wait to see Etzebeth and De Jager start... Those 2 are biscuits!!!!!

Meyer has players on tour that could go close but he is to scared to move away from his kick and charge game plan . When will we realize that it is difficult enough to get possession and then to kick it away is a sin . The really good sides use the kick as a attacking option (short grubbers when the defensive lines are up on you quickly-not something we ever do ) Meyers game plan does not allow the players to see the space . 9/10 when the ball is kicked deep on us all we do is kick it back . It's time for us to do what the opposition don't expect and that is to keep the ball in hand . If the team is fit and players can get back to help we will be able to move up the field without kicking . The only fly half able to kick for position in the squad is Morne Steyn but he is not getting a chance albeit that Meyer plays a very negative brand of rugby . It is becoming painful to watch a great brand like the SPRINGBOKS fall from grace. Something needs to be done immediately to restore the pride back to the jersey .

I wouldn't mind seeing the next 2 coaches (head and assis) Pumtree and Ackerman... Ackerman is imvho the most underestimated coach in SA....

Meyer has received a get out of jail card from me for the week. I will pick up the baton after the Scotland game.

One step at a time. This was a forward step lets just hope that they don't do what they been doing for 2 years and take 2 steps back again. Viva la France

The Scottish coaching staff have given the players off this morning so that they can see who Meyer has selected for Saturdays match. Its Wednesday morning and yet again he will announce his team thus giving the opposition time to work on their tactics. For once why cant you announce your team on a Friday? I know that he reads ABC as we are all experts  Weather is fantastic and come Saturday the sun will be out in Newcastle. Cant wait.

Juan de Jongh was unlucky not to be called up to replace De Villiers, but of course coach Meyer was delighted to pick the overrated bench warmer Serfontein as his replacement....
