I'll tally up later to see how the system is doing. Khumalo let me down today, but Strydom was a star.

The system fancies the following two selections today should they start as Interbet favourites.

PETER PIPER at 14:55

and

FREUDIANA at 16:10

I always worry when they race at the punters graveyard that is Scottsville. Hopefully I'll be smiling after today's meeting.

Today I was dragged out the house by my family to Ushaka Sea World, so there was no chance of playing today. To keep my research honest I've had a look and seen that I would have made a bet on PETER PIPER as it did start as favourite and not on the 2nd favourite FREUDIANA. So I would have made another loss today on the win bet and a small profit on the place bet and I have recorded it if I did bet it in my betting records. My stats update on the new system looks like this...

R20 win bets, 5 winners from 16 placed for a 31.25% strike rate but a loss of -R76.15, or -3.085 betting units.

R40 place bets, 12 winners from 16 bets for a 75% strike rate and a loss of -R10.81 or -0.27025 betting units.

After 16 bets I've decided to end this system in it's current state because I just can't wait any longer to add the improvements. So the latest refinement of the system has cost me about R87 in losses which I'll write off to experience and learning fees. Keep an eye out for a thread named LD's Betting Diary - Chapter 3 which will be the start of the newest system. Hopefully this one can turn a profit for me.
