Since its an open letter i will post it here

An Open letter to Ray Curling.from Titch

Ray having known you for many years and taking into account your impeccable racing background/pedigree and achievements, it is bitterly disappointing to read your remark about the unfortunate incident at Clairwood on Sunday which resulted in Richard Fourie falling during the running of the Main Race..I would have responded on your page but unfortunately I cannot post there, the post I'm referring to is headed "Muzi Yeni should get 6 months"
It is quite clear, taking into account your many years of experience in the industry, that you never even had the decency to watch the race/incident before calling for Muzi's blood, so I have taken the liberty of posting it below for you to have an in depth look, and hopefully retract your unfounded, uncalled for and ridiculous statement ~ vimeo.com/97705838

Just my quick look it seems to me that Richard is pulling his horse back before the incident as he can see what is going to happen as Muzi just keeps coming and then it does happen. Like to see it on the big screen from more angles though. I know Justin says it was entirely Muzi's fault and that the jockeys had shouted for him to go straight but he just kept coming. If he had stayed straight then there would not have been a problem.

This is a very serious accusation since Muzi and S'manga are very good friends.

Whatever the cause the result is we now have a injured jockey and a horse in huge pain with a broken jaw because of it.:X(td) I think as I said earlier, if Muzi had kept straight would we have had this happen?

that I can tell you has zero to do with this so let's please focus on this incident and not try to start fires where there are non - There are enough rumors in racing we don't need more unfounded ones spreading

Viewed the incident many times over n very very poor riding from muzi. Jockeying for position n ground could have wrecked RF career let alone his life.
As it it goes in this country da stipes will do nothiing.
As per Manp incident got nutin to do SK n Muzi been friends.
I personally feel Muzi should be sanctioned for his poor riding

Does anybody else think that jet explorers over racing also led to this unfortunate incident?

Titch
Muzi looks and just keeps coming over. My opinion. And Titch, we both know its not the first time.

The fact remains that Muzi took up Fourie's galloping room. Poor ride by Muzi in my opinion and I agree that there should be consequences... this could have been much worse for Fourie and Jet Explorer!

Are jockeys not allowed to voice their own opinion on their own facebook page?
