Would be nice if those people you 'heard' if from, would inform the rest of us plebs - also I'm sure many of us are interested to know what the 'reprieve' entails - quite a difference between 'we give you 6 months and then you're gone' and 'let's re-assess after 6 months' - the first implies that no matter what TT does, 239 WILL be removed in 6 months time, the second implies that maybe if P / TT get their 'house in order', it will be business as usual :S

My gut feeling is telling me that after the 6 months, we going to have to pay extra to have TT as a channel on the DSTV bouquet.

I'm not sure if that will happen as when i first signed up you could only get it on premium now on almost all bouquets it seems - It's become a throw on channel just like some of the religious and music channels that are just added on to make the user think they are getting value - Recall the Boss singing "Fifty-seven channels and nothin' on" and DSTV is a master at selling this

i am stuck on web based streaming being the future. MNET etc will not be the only game in town very soon.
as long as SA racing stream their coverage somewhere we will have access to it.paying is not bad if quality is good.

A lot of Clanners having a go at P & TT about this spat, rightfully so maybe, but it takes 2 to Tango. On the original show the P &/or TT guy clearly stated that there HAD been talks with the Bookies and that the Bookies were not prepared to give an inch. The way I read it is that the Bookies took the Court/Compt Comm route which is the reason MultiChoice gave TT notice. So it is ALSO the Bookies that are screwing up Racing as well if not totally.

You are right.............there are a lot of battles going on. The problem is "P": have started them all and are yet to win one!
Not too smart I guess.
