Run For It could be the July Favourite....

My 600/1 doesn't look so bad now probably will be 10/1 on the day.

I recall English Garden doing well in a Gauteng race.any relevance to Run For It.Just asking.

it seems there are a few out there slagging Run for It.. throwing its past form out as nothing special.
In any normal race, would you pay attention to the fact that a horse was gelded?
So Run for it has shown smart placed form behind smart horses. It has had well-advertised inconsistencies; surely gelding can remedy those? Now, since gelding a promising placed run form LAST against good horses over 1400??
Then, to back up that a win today. Did not see the race, but if it had of spluttered today, then the detractors have a point. What else were you suspecting 2nd after a break?
What is really left now that all your COTT, Asterix, Beauty and the Beach, Whacko Jacko etc have left the party?
It doesn't have to be Igugu to win this.

8/1 now and will shorten...HUGE runner...amazing how gelding can sort him out!

I agree with his supporters.....gelding makes a huge difference...and the fact that they wanted to take him overseas means that they have confidence....

fark ....will have to pick something else.......

my take on this is that as a three-year-old Run For It DID NOT win any Classics and now he faces youngsters that have - I would not have backed him as a youngster so why would I back him now just because he has been gelded - Gelding or no gelding he finds trouble in races and that will not change due to his running style.

Did he run in blinkers last night?
