Let us see how Trott fares on what appears a docile pitch.

Magi, as you know it would be potentially financially good for me if others did well, but I really hope Trott gets a decent score. A really solid bat who was immense in the Ashes series but has lost touch of late. No-one would be more pleased than I to see him return to form. Just hope that is not the kiss of death...

Well said GB... I'll agree with that (tu)

Very well thanks OR. Horse racing is a business to me bud, England cricket and Manchester United my passions. And if I can help some of you poor SAs understand the game a little bit more as a world sport rather than just your own team, I see it as my duty to do so despite all the absurd comments and insults that may come my way >:D<

GB... I know ;)

Thanks for the sympathy vote Pirho...

I have always said how hard it has been to watch United's very limited success over the past 20 odd years.

I first watched England in a test abroad in Sydney in 2003. I have now attended a total of 32 test matches abroad - 12 wins, 9 draws, 11 losses - with 5 of those losses happening on one tour. I could not describe the feeling of standing at the SCG last year having just won the Ashes as one of the best moments of my life. We all have our crosses to bear and, though obviously I was dealt a very rough hand, I'll struggle on :P

Keep up the struggle Englander ... maybe next time you attend a match you can send us some live commentary? or a couple of photos? just to make us drool cause we are stuck at the office ...
