Yes, Phil. Did the complete tour on both the last 2 visits. The most recent one I was already there, at the BPs in Pretoria. At a guess we hosted about a third of the B Army who came over for the first test. Most came over for the Durban/CT tests.

Mav, they still have quality but out of form and mentally a bit shot me thinks. Much depends on the wicket and the toss, only then will I decide on bets.

Lol Greg. That's Bikini Boy, comes over as a complete twwat until you get to know him! Lives in NZ.

My wife's company catered for the BA Christmas lunch in Durban the last time you were here.
The venue was a diving/ski-boat club. And that's where I spent my Christmas day!! ;)

Fine series win by England, shame it was such a disappointing Nagpur wicket for the final test. The Indians are clearly not as strong as they once were but a series win in the subcontinent is an excellent achievement, especially for such a very average cricket team (just for you CM ;) )

Good to see Trott and Bell coming back into some form too.

That very average bowler Jimmy Anderson deservedly given MOTM in the final test... whoopee as Pirates might maturely say (:D

The outstanding Cook deservedly given MOTS. No-one else likely to have come close.

Overall, a very satisfying series win X(

Congrats to the English team ... glad they won. They certainly were made to work hard for it in this last match. Cook looks like a great player too ... good for their future.

BEST THING THAT COULD HAVE HAPPENED is for the indian team to get a hiding at home...its a disgrace that they refuse to embrace the drs system and the pathetic pitches they prepare will kill the game...time for satchin to go

I did thanks CM but the pitch has let me down badly in the last test... saw the cracks and thought they would naturally only worsen and listened to the reports the first morning and it looked very much like a result wicket. Did England to win (for the 3rd successive test) and would have won handsomely but, much worse, I laid the draw. Fortunately I did KP to top score first innings and Jimmy to be top wicket taker 1st innings and recovered most of it. Overall nicely up on both the Oz-SA and Ind-Eng series... not bad for someone who, comments would have you believe, knows fark all about the game ;)

Pirates, I couldn't agree more. And then to watch the abuse they gave Trott yesterday, disgraceful. I have no problem with them creating spinner friendly tracks but not overly so. This last one though, just an extremely poor test wicket and is the type that will continue to take people away from test cricket. Having considered going, I am very pleased I didn't as I think it would have been the most boring (bar Antigua when Lara scored 400) of all the tests I've seen.

Thanks for all the congratulatory and "nice" comments, makes a pleasant change for me lol (:D

India v England 20/20

England have an Irish captain and 3 South Africans in their side. Must be heartening supporting a team of foreigners.
