We still need to bat well, if we remember back to Perth when we chased down our record chase the scores got bigger and bigger, doesn't look like the same pitch though but we must put our good first innings lead to good use. (tu)

Jeez Frodo, lmao, you don't ask much of your guys sometimes! If they do that then the win should be in the bag barring complete calamities.... and the always worring, Ponting retiring and going out in real style factor

You are right Pirates. Bat them right out of the game and then go hard for the win. If it then ends up in a draw we are STILL no1 in the world>

This test will ABSOLUTELY NOT be a draw... no, zero, nil, 0 chance
(unless rain expected???)

Wonderful batting by Smith and Amla. Scoring quickly takes the game away from the Aussie's and sets a good platform for the men to come in.

The Betfair draw odds in the 2nd test were 37-1 at one stage! Draw currently second favourite at 9 (SA 1.26, Aus 9.

Tipster if this is a draw I will be absolutely amazed. I would struggle to do it even as an idiot bet lol. Angry with myself for not taking the 3s on SA, I just thought it was too skinny, really wanted 9/2 or 5s. I've ended up backing them at much much shorter. For it to be a draw now, with over 3 days left, I wouldn't be taking under 33s personally... unless rain is forecast of course.

It takes a lot to be no 1 - ok so Peterson let me down, but Amla and Smith has really excelled - so far so good - need to bat tomorrow the whole day if possible - get 500+ in front

One session and the game is taken away from Australia... only one team can win this now...

As you know Frodo, I like to see a reason for the underdog, at whatever stage in a game, to turn the tables and win... I just can't see anything but an SA win in this one now. As said, just wish someone had offered 4s at any point on SA cos I would have seen that as tempting enough I think
