I doubt if neither side has an excuse. Well both Man City and Chelsea are out of the Champions League and Arsenal are still in it. If Arsenal spent like City and Chelsea have then players like RVP would still be playing for Arsenal. Liverpool are a case of poor management where team selection comes as well as living on past glories. Liverpool will nver win the title again unless Man City, Chelsea and United all fold.

I do believe that Arsenal will spend in Jan,but regadless of their poor showing i believe that all is not lost yet,and that they will qualify for champions leaugue come the end of the season. What i would like to see is Wenger should step up to the boardroom, and that they bring in Gaurdiolla as his replacement, then we talking.

Zoro

Arsenals big signing in January will be Thierry Henry on a 6 week loan. That will be it. The fans are been taken for a ride. Highest entrance fee in the land and all the profits have gone into the stadium and into the owners pockets.

Finance and intelligent spending are the main ingredients for a premier league side.
What I admire about Man U is that for the past 2 decades they have been either winning or finishing 2nd! And yes they do spend a lot of money-but not unnecessarily! Look at man city-won league last season-and will not win anything again imo. USELESS!!!!!!with a kak manager! Chelsea were flying, but now?Ragfa?he couldn't win the league with a 20point headstart! I am die hard Liverpool fan, have always and will always be! No excuse for shit spending and weak management! BUT as well our players don't want to play anymore! Steven Gerrard has been an utter disapointment since his return and Reina,my goodness he has become shit! I admire Glen Johnson he puts in his shift week in week out. And at times it looks as though only himself and Saurez want to play! Say what u want abt Saurez, but he is a player I will have in any side! He has the eye of the tiger and will do anything to win. If our midfield shakes up, he will score even more goals! Andy Carol was the worst buy of the century! Jordan Henderson can't kick a ball! Charlie adam I thought was a good player! Gerrard needs to be benched

United have wasted a lot of money on buying duds. For example Veron who cost around 16 million, Dejemba, Kildelson, Tiblisi, David May, just to name a few that cost over 10 million that were sold for a fraction for what they were bought for.

Most Definitelt Chicken and Chips. But at the same time, fans, management, etc! Don't mind if u do hit a boobey trap with a few expensive buys, as long as u are showing the results and winning titles. Love em or hate em, Man united know how to win. And that's the bottom line, as a Liverpool fan is erks me2 say this, but as a Punter when you back Man U, u are bound to get value for your money

Every club buys duds... as Fergie says, you never truly know until they are at the club and can integrate both in the team and the life. But let us throw in one or two others and then can you say the bargains don't outweigh the duds...
Schmeichel
Cantona
Solksjaer
Irwin
and even throw these in and say they weren't value for money...
Keane
Ronaldo
Vidic
etc etc etc
That is not a bad record in my book. Compare to Queen Dalglish CnC and I think you'll find Sheza has a point.

Far to many poor players to even think of selecting the worse team.

My best Premier League team

Schimcal
Dixon
Adams
Cole
Stam
Viera
Scholes
Ronaldo
Henry
Bergkamp
Shearer
