Howzit C'nC...

Ah, Dixon and Adams together with Bould and Winterburn I think, they were known as the "Old Guard" at Arsenal, hardly anything used to get past them. I would like to add Pearce and Walker (yeah I may be biased).

For the midfield I can add Cantona, a name escapes me (he was the Liverpool skipper and great distributor and now a commentator I think) Alan Hansen and Keane.

Strikers - too many.

(But some of these names could have been before the Premier League)

"Victory for the Bantams means they have now won their last nine penalty shoot-outs and are the first team from the bottom tier of English football to reach the semi-final of the competition since Wycombe in 2006-07.
Wenger had shown his intent with a starting XI that included just three changes from the side that beat West Brom on Saturday and 10 from the one that began the epic 7-5 win over Reading in the last round."

Big test ahead for Arsenal now, a defeat like that can of course hit confidence badly especially after their recent form in the EPL... huge games for them now at Reading on Monday and they follow that with a trip to Wigan. I think the results of those two will determine whether it will be a season of struggle and a mid-table finish or they will continue to challenge for a Champions League place.

well done to wenger and his arsenal team on getting the 4th champions league spot wen they were 7 points behind spurs at one time.it was a great season for man utd who didnt at any stage play brilliant football, but still managed to win the league with ease.as for spurs, maybe next season they will qualify for champions league.i must admit liverpool did well because i really expected them to be in a relegation battle this season.lol.
