Whiteline Fever was taken out badly by Pomodora. Would have gone very close. Certainly would have finished in the first 3.

Eaton Square very impressive run and will be a force ,one to follow, and i thought War Horse under G Lloyd was well ridden, and to me was the most impressive winner on the day.

Jackson pulled and was gone before he hit the straight - ignore that run

Lots of disappointments, Jackson not the horse i thought he would be....
no superstar, certainly not in the same league as Igugu??)
Eaton Square looks like a very good horse, out of all those probably has the most potential/ improvement to come.
.. Lets hope his future is mapped out and isn't a one season horse... I'm sure Van Zyl will look after this one..(tu)
But that ride by Strydom showed why he is such a brilliant jockey....

It feels like a right thing happened, both Striker, Tarry and Chris deserved it. Bookies are millionaires today. I wonder how the mood was like at Greyville with all those non-punters who had their money on Jackson Lol. 2/1 for Jackson was a ridiculous bet anyway.
Imo Eaton Square was the best handicapped horse in the race and I expected him to win, i'm still not sure if its the distance or the jockey.
Pier Striker Strydom the real Master!!!!!

Imo watching Strydom racing a little wide to shadow the front runners was a huge gamble he is damn lucky he had a good horse under him.....I will give him credit though as in a tight finish many other jocks would have lost it....having a horse with breathing complications run you to a short head shows how lucky you really are....

100m more and he wins the race...doubt he will stay the GC distance.
