Titch we would have the use of Clairwood for 2 years at least so the thing to do would be to close Greyville after the Gold Cup and open in time for the following season. I have not spoken to anyone but that is what I would do. Get everything done properly at one time.

clairwood will be leased back to gc for 2yrs while they complete all the modifications to greyville and summerveld.the grass track will be 18 metres wide the polytrack will be 14 metres wide 2000 metres long

after last nights meeting to vote on the sale of clairwood to some company i ask the same question i asked a few weeks ago WHY WASNT THE SALE OF CLAIRWOOD PUT OUT TO TENDER ,OFFERED TO PROPERTY COMPANIES ETC TO GET THE BEST POSSIBLE PRICE ?

An extraordinary general meeting of members has been called for the 21st May at which they will vote on the new improved offer on the table for the sale of Clairwood. There was overwhelming support for the sale at the last meeting.

heard from 5 different sources that were at the meeting that it was 50 50 in fact the proxy votes recieved were in the majority against the sale .....the meeting was a debacle and the voting a waste of time as they were voting on something that no longer existed therefore unconstitutional...the circus continues.anyway craig what will be willbe as long as i got a computaform you can race on glass for all i care
