the clairwood based cape trainers have now won all four feature races in one week in natal ...can see why the need to close clairwood has gathered rapid momentum

Great business vision to sell your only asset (race course wise in KZN) and hope that the business will survive. Good luck should "the landlord" change the rules on the other race courses.... Sounds like a fantastic idea. Virtual racing here we come.

Hawkins HAS always been bad for racing he has made many stuff ups but always seems to come away unscathed .My feelings for him have been like this for many years I could make a diary on this a.....holes blunders TBA GERMISTON NEWMARKET OWNERS AND TRAINERS why does horseracing allow a fool like this to earn Top Dollar

So Pirates we must keep Clairwood open for the Cape trainers who probably wont be part of GC soon? Are our Natal trainers down there not important enough a reason? Would the guys on this thread please let me know who is a GC member at the moment. Lots of guys slating the decision to sell but not sure how many have bothered to become members. We told our trainers here that if you cannot be bothered to come to 1 AGM a year dont come crying to us when you have a problem. If you feel strongly enough about something then join and make yourself heard. It is easy to sit on the outside and throw stones when you are not accountable for the results. I am very happy to chat to anyone about the sale, just pm me and I will call you.
