On Tipsters: They are all good, professionals, Mathew Stevens long successful. I have learnt plenty from John Sweet's books, as credited in my own. Nobody forces you to pay for their info, and those who pay are not mugs. Of course there is no way we can get it right always, but consistent good strike rates over a period make some better than other. That's what you pay for.

No lucky,we must be kept in the dark because some tipsters are trainers best friends and they can call the site moderators and ask for this thread to be removed

Oh perfectly right Soodum, some tipsters have good friends who are trainers. But ask any of the tipsters - they will tell you that 1) it is really embarrassing to "ask" a trainer for a good thing and 2) trainers are the worst tipsters in the business. Their "unbeatables" get pipped on the line like clockwork.

Or post the unthikable, which is commonly known as THE TRUTH. Matthew NEVER wrote what you accuse him of, Soodum !

I have no argument with people who charge for tips,I would merely suggest the prospective subscribers take the following factors into consideration:
a)Ignore claims that cherrypick the winning bets........returns need to be judged against ALL bets, including the losing ones.
I am also amused at tipsters that suggest a R500 perm, catch it with their 2nd choice in each race on a particular day and then boast they got the J'pot for R8 ???.If you ignore losing lines ,I have never caught a P6 that cost me more than a R1.
b)Why would any worthwhile service have more ex-subscribers than current ones?
c)The very small number of winning punters stay under the radar.........they are doing it for the money, not the applause,or( IMO) subscriptions?
However guys,The whisperer is an analyst with an extensive knowledge, not a guesser,so it is definitely not fair to compare his analysis with "tips" that are mostly hunches, pulled from hats like rabbits.

Whisperer claims to have inside info, craig says he never spoke to him about the horse
Ok im wrong ,matthew got the grooms or the jock to slip the info that the horse was a runner
My point is a tipster who keeps claiming to have a "bet of the year" and then tips me a flipping 5/10 shot is useless info to me,be it matthew or anybody else

Soodum,to be fair, there is a huge difference between 5/10 shots that should be 3/10 and those that should be 3/1
A 50% return in 61 sec. beats the sh!t out of 6% per annum..........lol
I would disagree however with the BET OF THE YEAR comment............even Craig admits "needed run more than they thought" and only a race truly tests the tendon, and sadly that is true of every run from hereon out!

If many of us studied towards degrees with the time it takes us to study horse racing form, there would be some very well qualified people on this forum who would earn far greater incomes from there qualifications than from their horse racing knowledge.

Yes Rob, it's loads of fun watching money dissappear. Especially when your horse gets beaten by a nostril:X
