Well there you go Craig and all it took was a simple question. Two Oceans Racing have several horses available placed with different trainers. The most important part for an owner is to enjoy his share by means of communication, stable visits from time to time and race day entertainment. If he receives that then he is prepared to pay the bill at the end of the month even if his horse never earned.
Sometimes the only communication from a stable is the bill at each month end.
I wish all the potential new owners only the best.Craig is good for the game.

Re James Blond.
Good idea, any system that promotes more involvement in horse racing by way of ownership or betting or attendance must be encouraged.
Once prospective owners know the FULL costs it will certainly makes things easier.
On Gavin Van Zyl's website, an 'all inclusive' package is offered. Maybe more trainers should look into this. It's pointless telling me it will cost a thousand a month excluding 'extras'. I have to budget, I can't budget for 'extras'...

Hi Guys, just got in and will reply to the ideas am. Just want to say to Krishy that my owners are all let know before the race that their horse is running at least twice even if they have no chance of winning. To me it is part of the service to owners.

Hi James B, it would be nice to have someone looking for new owners to bring into the game. I am sure you would get trainers willing to pay the 10% to fill up their yards with a few more horses. Give me a shout if it gets off the ground but I do think it could work.

Generally trainers get 7% and jockeys 7% of the gross stake but some jockeys get 10% and also some trainers add a further stake percentage onto their accounts.
