Hughes and Hanagan watch

Lead down to 3 again with probably 4 days to go(hughes is still to decide whether to ride at Doncaster Saturday)
Bookies go 1/5 Hanagan, 3/1 Hughes
Hughes has 12 rides today and Hanagan 8

they both deserve it paul for his consistency during the season and richard for his "picking himself up" after being sacked by Prince Khalid Abdulla. Personally i think/hope that hanagan shades it a short head....

Not sure if they could share it? Would they take seconds or places into consideration or total stakes earned?
I see no betting for a dead heat.

Like I said in another thread on this subject, I reckon Hanagan deserves it after leading from the first race of the season (if I remember), but Hughes really would be a worthy champ as well. I know they are only riding against jockeys of Vaal work riders' standards (according to Andre), but somebody still has to be the best.....lol. Another dead heat so soon after the last one would be quite something, though.

I agree two worthy Champs,an this might be Hanagans only chance, hughes has to sit and watch on Friday because you can only ride at Nine uk meetings in one week

Suppose Hughes taking a week holiday before Goodwood, just incase he picked up a ban focing him to miss Zebedee, paco boy and Canford Cliffs was the right decision?
