Speaking of "restaurants" , in a surprising turn of events Julius Mal ..from ANCYL announces that henceforth all Restaurants are not to be called so because this term is too British . In order to make the masses feel more at home thay shall be refered to as CAF......TERIAS.What next?

Clementine's Restaurant, Clarens. You gotta order their dessert "Meringue and lemon ice cream", absolute bliss. The best dessert we've had in zonks.

Cheers Greg will ask the kids

"Rustica" one of our new favs, its in the Kimiad golf park, great food and doing well.

The lad that runs it Greg is on the ball related to JJ from Victory Moon fame.

Calamari is superb, also ribs worth a visit

Would say we are spoilt in the Capital, can go in a 5 mile radius

Elephant and Friends (Afrikaans for long arm and a fight, trinchado 5 star) Decadence(good vibe, good food), Cocos (good food at very cheap prices) Mimmos (good consistent) Rademeyers (watch all the game and have a T bone under the lapa, excellent) at Woodlands we have Ocean Basket (cheap and consistent, good value) O'galitos (a bit classier and more expensive but great food, seafood soup and seafood salad excellent) Heat (also good food and nice decor) then down the road we have the Lifestyle centre where the Indian is pretty good, Rhapsodys (good vibe good food, specials on sushi) Eds Diner(good price and good vibe, chips with cheese and chilly sauce and pizzas are great) as I said Rustica superb, plus the bush pubs for a few dops.

We also have a Dros and a Spur .................poor

Plus a few others that I have not mentioned, Karoo is also not bad, if we go to Irene over the highway have another half a dozen

catch you later, going for lunch!

cheers!

Just some update from the weekend, the lads that Interbet used onestop for the July were superb, never a big buffet fan, but they were excellent.
Went to the Oyster Box on Sunday and enjoy hot food and u can be assured the lamb vindaloo curry is HOT!

My Fav is the Bedford Steakery [Bennigans] Food is great, service great and prices not bad at all.
NB is the Villa Bianca in Isandovale [off Barbara Road]

When I was in Scotland in June, I went to the Ship Inn in Broughty Ferry, they do the most amazing Chicken stuffed with Haggis, absolutely scrummy
