Dancers Daughter is gonna be proving herself up this side!!!!! How do you think she will take to the climate and stable change?????? Could this be her ultimate downfall? Or will she thrive tremendously and be the great filly that she is?

Fair play to Justin. It is a big call to send your best horse to another trainer.
It is obvious she has a big place in his heart. Altitude is a huge gamble. Interesting days ahead. well done to him

Firstly in response to the first post on this thread, DD has absolutely nothing to prove
Secondly she is hardly ducking PP, as they probably wouldnt have met again before the July in any case.

A brave and innovative(but high risk) strategy by Justin Snaith, who is obviously determined to take his briliant mare to where the races for her are.

tsk tsk tsk... huge cajones... sending her to the Hiveldt. At least the surfaces will be kind at this time of year. If she runs well at the end of February... then she going to clean up. Local trainers of good fillies now shaking (metaphorically) in their boots.

Its not transparent that justin thinks, along with some of us me included, that this filly is something special. She just coming up to prove it and prove herself so that going overseas would not seem a waste of time. She has to terminate all to prove she is worthy of racing with the best in the world should she go overseas. And that is all i think Justin is doing. Proving her class! I wonder what the odds would be for her to win all her races up here? Would love to take that bet!
3 races top notch races, i'm sure a nice treble can be on the cards.

So you think running against Rudra and Smart Banker in Gauteng will help her to 'prove herself' for running overseas?? ha ha ha

Pocket Power is commonly acknowledged by Bass as the best he has ever trained(ie better than Sun Classique), and is also superior to Jay Peg(imho). The d/h in the July and Sat's excellent Met effort show her quality a lot more than beating Our Giant!!!

I doubt very much she will end up runnning in all three races. If she does she will run badly in one as she is a bit of a moody cow.
