I wish her and the Snaiths all the best but I think the risk is not worth it, especially if she is to go overseas.
Many a Cape horse has come a cropper on the highveld so why take the risk? Theres another Durban season later in year to think of. What I really think the Snaiths should actually do is send her to De Kocks base in England for the UK flat season and forget about SA.
She's won the July, been beaten half a length in the Met by one of the top horses in world. She's obviously the 2nd best horse in SA so what's there to prove other than the fact she can beat a few donkeys at altitude.
She could even have a go at the Arc later in the year...

I for one am happy the Snaiths decided to do it, so when one of my 3yo fillies beats her in the Empress Club, it will give that filly a leg up on the 3yo Championship honors at year's end. Dancer's Daughter is the best filly or mare in the country, but she will be in the "Twilight Zone" when the mile race is run and she will lose. She will, of course, bounce back in the big ones going longer later on, but she is being set up for a loss in the first one.
