On way home
I think the jump in distance from 1450 to 2600 was probably a leap to far.
Decent race considering maybe 2000 ish next time

Ps the food in Elevation room a massive improvement since last visit
Not sure who to say well done 🤔 to but cheers 👍

At R250 a head, the food has to be better :S

Ok Frodo must say was just comparing with the last time we had food there, it was a hamburger and this time it was massive improvement.
George bought food and I got drinks so did not know the price.
However it was a lot cheaper than the punt 😷

Whatever happened to Scott and William? Great guys who loved their racing and who put on a good show week after week - cheap as chips too. R250 with respect will buy you a decent meal at a good restaurant.

Next question - which family member of one of the insiders got the contract?

Would be interesting to know who has the catering contract - but for me it does not really matter - all I want is decent food at a decent price - and I agree that R250 is probably not bad when you want to spend the day and linger over desert etc. - however I'm sure we were there earlier in the year and I think it was R170 a head - so seems quite a steep increase  - also what to do if one is stopping by for a race or 2 - why do they not offer a burger and chips for example ?
