Looks like top jocks will dominate the day

Race 1 Sister Light odds on. Frodo and Elvis have a runner. Lerena up again
Race 2 Zannetto short price Lerena up 4 year old debut??
Race 3 Prince of fire short price Lerena up
Race 4 Humble Tune. Light weight. competitive field
Race 5 Leading Lad short price Lerena up. Not convinced.
Race 6 Foreign field looks the right one.
Race 7 another Wernar runner . very good debut run

Good day all

I think best bet on card is Humble tune think this horse is looking for the distance has a fair jockey and light weight
Noble tune breeding always assumed sprint lines but horses seem to love going the extra distance Mystery boy for example won yesterday again also noble tune.

Dark travel and bitter wind to close off

Happy punting all

Yip Elvis and myself both have a small piece of Turn Tide (not sure how she got her name  ) - anyway she really is a strong, good-looking filly and may yet be a bargain - but she needs to show it on the track.

First 2 runs she was pulling and not settling - hopes are that the turn will help - stable believes she is looking for this trip and further (although the 1/2 sister does not get an inch more than 1000) - obviously not one to ignore for the places - let's see

All the best with Humble Tune - trip a question mark, but I'm sure the dam stayed - and a good option imo to try the longer trip with a light weight

Good man Frodo

George will be at track and I might join him?

Miss Diana was a decent stayer so hopefully her laddie can dig deep over the 2600 with light weight and tight track.
The plan is to keep him handy and Nathan got a nice feel in gallops the last week.

Trying a Yankee

Winter Renegade X Humble Tune X Foreign Field X Bitter wind.

Strong on nothing yet hoping for a good run from Humble Tune. (for the connections)

Good luck to Elvis and Frodo on their runner. Small wager each way.

I see a few tipping Foreign Field in race 6

I know it’s got some quirks when going down to the start plus can race ungenerously but has load of ability

I’m in Paul Peters camp here with Western Fort wasn’t much between them last start and meets it better in weights is 2nd up and the extra distance suits

Any thoughts ?
