Can someone also explain how GTG was 4 points inferior to GD when he beat him in the Daily News at level weights and in the July.[/quote]
Simple Simon...... Golden Ducat took on and beat Rainbow Bridge in the Champion Stakes when under sufference.
He got penalised for that win.
GOT TGL stayed at home and that changed nothing.

66/1 shot and sure it was something you posted Frodo....
Missed have been on the JWB
Based on his performance in the Met, I still believe SS offers big value at current odds - I have since had another few stabs (mainly for a Place) at these attractive odds; would have thought that he will be running in the 1900 this weekend, but obviously the stable has other plans for his prep

Thanks Dave - I assume the Pinnacle is preferred due to protecting his rating (or maybe the 1600 is a better 'pipe-opener') - interesting that Do It Again races here when he drew 1 in the 1900 - and also interesting in that the 3yr old Tread Swiftly runs here - as he did finish just over 5 lengths behind Linebacker in the KZN Guineas - so if one believes the 124 rating that Linebacker 'officially' achieved, TS ran to 114 - which would make him very competitive at these weights
yet I see HW offering 33/1
So now I need to decide whether SS will run well enough for him to shorten for the July - so either take more advantage of the 66/1 being offered currently - or just sit back and see how he does on Sunday
