Anyone's guess as to who will take their chances and who not - for me I think both Malmoos and Summer Pudding are doubtful to run; obviously Got the Greenlight and Linebacker did their chances no harm - and Rainbow Bridge - what a soldier - will be interesting to see what the handicapper makes of the results this weekend

With the release of the new merit ratings after this weekend's racing, truly believe Linebacker is weighted to go very, very close. Assuming Rainbow Bridge stands his ground, the top few in the market could carry :-

Rainbow Bridge - 60.0kgs
Gotthegreenlight - 57.0kgs
Linebacker - 53.0kgs
Kommetdieding - 53.0kgs (but 2.0kgs under sufferance if he does not increase his rating)
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Just my opinion, Linebacker is something very special. I believe the jhb horses can start now and won't get close to him in the July. Vaughn Marshall and GVN are both due a July winner!!! Go Linebacker...

Summer Pudding should also get cut, off her inflated rating she won’t have much of a chance.

After the weekends rating adjustments iam going back to basics to try and find the July winner.

Iam gonna be looking for a horse that stays with proven G1 credentials.

If there is any rating decrease for Golden D or Do it Again then those horses gonna be serious contenders.

The ratings are ridiculous, Summer P has the same rating as DIA.

No bias from me just confusion, can you explain how SP and DIA can have the same rating.

Can someone also explain how GTG was 4 points inferior to GD when he beat him in the Daily News at level weights and in the July.
