Mr H was a great contributor to the site. Sad to see that he left.
Hopes he comes back.

One thing about this and other forums when it comes to speaking your mind, particularly if it goes against the grain, is you will get abuse. I have on more than one occasion thought what am I doing this for and considered leaving.

I am all for speaking truth...irrespective of the popular narrative. Keep it up OTA...most of your posts have been spot on.

I find the following 'rules' work quite well :
1.) I remind myself that quite a lot of posters respond when they are angry about an issue. I often write a post but do not actually upload it until a couple of hours later after I have reviewed it to ensure that it is not (hopefully) too personal or abusive.
2.) I remain aware that some posts are possibly written when the writer is not sober.
3.) Everybody is entitled to their opinion even if it does not align with mine.
4.) Try and remain focused on the issue and not the person commenting on it.
5.) I don't often return to a topic that I have commented on so I probably miss some of the abuse; if any has actually been directed at me.
6.) I post under my own name as I am comfortable in being associated with anything that I write.
