But over all up to lot 65 - Zen Arcade family bought by De Kock I think for over 2 Mill been pretty competitive.
Noticed lot 2 a very nice flower alley bought by CVN for R400 k personally at the sale. So very confused to see this mix of CtS and TBA attending Nationals as this has not been like this for the last 5 years . When MJ was around how bad did they treat the TBA now they sit at the same dinner table.
100 % one wants to believe that at least the Top will have some . But they are wants not needs and very sad to have witnessed the process and change since the inception of CTS .

7 years 1 month ago....but well done for observing and reporting on this....had I been there I would have puked... ...just goes to show that now CvN has a similar pull to that of Jooste with regard to the local media coverage of racing....no wonder Barry is miffed..... he sees the end of Jooste only for the remaining kabal to fill the vacuum.... :huh:Warren Laird wrote:Muhtiman wrote:pirates wrote:You honestly believe this industry has genuine moral ethical people in it?hunt with the hounds and run with the hares ...Warren Laird wrote: Had to come home quickly - But it has been a very strong sale - Ok its day one - Some iffie horses that I personally would not have paid the amounts fetched . Spot on - That is what this is all about . BI thoiught there was going to be change . but after his investigation found that nothing will change.
If they get this protocol thing right in the next 5 years I will be surprised. Louis G - has his oppinion far enough - BI sold his colt for R3.3 mill - Bought by Hong Kong Jockey club.
I will back Barry I. version we live in SA and the chances of this protocol story being sorted out is just another carrot they are dangling. Good luck to all the buyers that have bought with the thought of moving them over seas later . Never going to happen.

Yes well done to him, no idea of background but i am guessing that he took a serious knock/blow when the MJ story broke ?
Maybe a start of a new era and very surprised by what i regard as a positive sale, lets hope we can have something good moving forward
