.....Wow the demise of Phumelela and Covid crisis have woken these sleepy okes up....for weeks/months now they have been positively branding and promoting Cape Racing....and they seem to be winning.....while us up country folk are still bogged down....I CANNOT wait to move down there....as soon as we can wrap up the many loose ends....that have trapped us in Gangsters paradise.....

Please don’t you dare think that Cape Town is gangster free. Far from it.

.....not talking about street level crime.....which the Cape has plenty of....Im gatvol for the other street crime like potholes and watere cuts and the f@cked local infrastructure.....I can handle the street totsis ....but not those taking money without putting a gun in your face....yesterday metro cops in their top end private cars were flagging down Kyalami road motorists and fleecing them for cash.....Im sure the Cape has measures to address this.....but our local police/ government sponsored crime spree is despicable....:S

Cape Town has huge problems but is there any attempt to fix them
I think not
Yesterday another horse had to be scratched
No jockey available
A lack of horses creates small fields
No jockeys even with small fields
No jockey that came ride the minimum weight of 52
The 2 apprentices that were in Cape Town were moved to Johannesberg
I believe there is no will to fix things

.....yet up here we too are coming up short and more often have 5-6 horse fields.....having bigger fields in maiden and low MR races may look exiting but lets face it we are racing a lot of crap up here....imo the Cape has by far better quality and even if fields are thin....highly entertaining.....:)
