From probably the most famous/marketable jock after the Ascot 7 living the dream as Goldolphin retainer... to a time when most thought that was the end, another famous celebrity who could not cope.. to rising again to rival his headiest days back then again now with Gosden. He is blessed but seems to not take it for granted and always comes across as a gentleman. Bravo Frankie, you will always be a role model for me on how not to let the bad days get you down and fight again with never give up attitude. I feel blessed to witness his achievements, because he reminds me through his infectious positivity about how good racing can be when it is really good... which counters the dark moments we live through here.
If you go to search "dettori" and "any" date
You will find 33 pages and 652 posts where his name is mentioned with many photos, including ones from the boxes at the big T

Perhaps it is having to support Southampton at the moment but if ever my doubts were proved wrong they were on Sunday.
When Frankie took the lead ,in two strides the race was over and that is the hallmark of a great jockey on a great horse.
I read that Mr Piggott, who is not known for saying a lot, still thinks that Frankie is the best around!

Remarkably Frankie rode in 29 Arc's so far with record 5 wins. He said his strike rate is bad in the race
albeit in a joking manner.
