Looking back, from the depths when dumped by Godolphin, what a marvelous story is the life of Lanfranco Dettori. From probably the most famous/marketable jock after the Ascot 7 living the dream as Goldolphin retainer... to a time when most thought that was the end, another famous celebrity who could not cope.. to rising again to rival his headiest days back then again now with Gosden. He is blessed but seems to not take it for granted and always comes across as a gentleman. Bravo Frankie, you will always be a role model for me on how not to let the bad days get you down and fight again with never give up attitude. I feel blessed to witness his achievements, because he reminds me through his infectious positivity about how good racing can be when it is really good... which counters the dark moments we live through here.
