well done. I remember we both liked him on the poly LTO and he let the side down.

but I won't be rushing to back him in handicaps - looks a horse that runs in snatches - I am not impressed by Byword as a stallion - perhaps they need 2000m plus?

same here. Will be a 60-75MR handicapper.

This is a really difficult race - but I liked a little bit of Lady Elliodor as an EW chance here ?

My three chances complete, I missed the first two due to something else that came up and backed the losing third :) --- enough for me for the day.

Did Delpech say that Hashtagyolo injured herself coming out the gate?, because she looked good going to post
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Comparing times of 2 horses over 1400m for a race they running over 1750m is lunacy, lol. It simpky holds no merit. Even when comparing times of equal distance races on diffrent days are almost impossible..as of the MANY varying factors from day to day racing. Not too mention the pace factor between 1400 and 1750 is miles apart.Surely there must be better ways to compare the 2.

Lol you sound quite confident with that assertion Heinrich , so probably best to leave it at that. I might just mention that in the last race lady Elliodor was the fastest runner of all that ran over 1400m , barring the unraced horse --- If they all showed natural improvement , of those that stayed she was likely to be in front of them --
1400m and 1800m are in fact key indicator distances for many principles in horse racing --- only reason I stated EW was becuase the first timer was unknown. You might be correct, it may be lunacy ----
