With all this shit happening/not happening i am bettrer off betting/gambling blind
Why not just keep it simple, ie getting info/ rtesults on radio like in the early 80's 90's?
Cost nothing but time And definately got more players involved than now, i can swear to that

If I were to try to save Racing I would put Teletrack on the Openview Network - Once off purchase of around R300 and Racing gets exposure to millions in SA

Yup they seem to forget that racing died slowly as it was kicked into touch by Radio Station after Radio Station and Newspaper after Newspaper- EXPOSURE is needed - Petition the Gambling Board to increase the amount bookmakers contribute and kill all paid local broadcasts - But I suppose R80 a month from the millions of subscribers (NOT) will save Racing

Keep yourself informed with tellytrack.com
Tellytrack.com is expanding its service even further to incorporate a new feature known as “Informed”.
September 21, 2017
This will give you the opportunity to follow up to 100 horses, allowing you to watch and download all their races. All you have to do is register on tellytrack.com for the service and then select the horses you wish to follow. Then click back on the “Informed” icon at the top of the page and the names of all your chosen runners will be displayed. Click on the one you want to watch and all their runs will be at your beck and call.
While this feature has been created specifically with owners and trainers in mind, it is open to all punters who just want to follow specific horses.
Within 24 hours of race day the replay will be available for you to download, save and even share, all this for just R49.95 per month.
“Tellytrack.com wants to make life easier for owners and trainers. Many people do not have time to watch every race live or wait for the replays. By using Informed, tellytack.com will do all the work for you,” said Tellytack CEO Rob Scott.
“This is just one of many features we are looking at for tellytrack.com, there is still a lot more to come.”
“Informed” will be available from Friday, 22 September.

Say's it all - A company that has no idea that the biggest portion of viewers by a mile are PUNTERS.... The more exposure Racing gets mainstream the more owners and trainers will get rewarded with larger stakes... look after the income stream and the game will be sustainable and grow - Making R10 a month on subs when you could go free and attract advertisers and more importantly new punters ... In the recent past the cry was always "Radio 5 wants to charge us too much to broadcast Racing" So now you have your own product that you decide is worth selling back to the people that pay for its daily costs...

.....said it in an early post.....TT starving the DSTV viewer to spring for a TT subscription......I wanted to watch the replays of yesterday Durbanville before six this morning....all they did was have slides of all of yesterdays results and no races....FFS if I want to see results only.....I check Tabonline (hoping that they are there and IT beaver has done his job)......TT say replays at 06h50
....got the PVR to record.....but have a sneaky suspicion it will be a repeat of the results only.....

.....I see that TT is trying it's level best to push us DSTV TT viewers to cough up for streaming subscriptions.....one cannot now get commentary on Ozz and certain other international meetings while they are flighting a local race or during USO, USO repeats and the WSB Saturday show.....
they do provide a split screen but with no commentary nor with any in studio presenters even attempting to decipher the results.....even with my huge TV I cannot see the results nor know WTF is happening.....really pissing me off.....but I still refuse to spring for a sub.....because the streaming is now far from live....this week end I solved the problem.....watched the DSTV feed....
and streamed audio from TAB Ozz......

The roll-out has started but i cannot say which areas it started in. If you want to check whether your area/line has been upgraded, check the properties on your modem - so I'm told. Mine is still at 2mbs.
Just to add, i also have a capped line, the problem with most uncapped lines, irrespective of service provider, they tend to "throttle" the download speed when they pick up that the user downloads a lot/often. With my current (capped) line, i watch both Youtube and on-line movie channels without buffering. The times the movie does channel does buffer is when there is more than one device connected to the modem.[/quote
.....TELKOM are even bigger dogs.....I have now switched to MWEB uncapped.....but found out that my TELKOM 2mb line is now only doing under 1bpss intead of 2....so in the process of porting my line to MWEB to get 4bpps line....MWEB are no saints either as I switched 3 days before month end and was charged a full months sub.....I began downloading as much DSTV catch up plus as I could.....and even got a warning from MWEB about irresponsible down loading....FFS I paid them for a month and am trying to get my money's worth.....MWEB suggest downloading after 12 at night....so I tried to do so.....checked mt download speed after 12 it was 0.11bpps and that's when I found out TELKOM were srcewing me....all the MOFO's in the area are using that free 10MB night data to download too.....
