What TT should do is have their own betting site as well like ATR do with Sky Bet. Then they will have their own website with all sorts to attract new subscribers and the money spent on the monthly instalment will be worth it.

i am not clued up with the tech but is there no uncapped on offer and if that isnt the way can you suggest the best route

Aside from my usage the family would be downloading for their pleasure
....I have uncapped ADSL in the office.....so shit cannot stream anything without "oh mother buffer" every 2nd minute.....ADSL is a DODO.....and like what TT are trying to do....starve the satellite viewer to pay for a sub.....Telkom choke ADSL to get a move to fibre.....at a bigger cost....

i assume telkom offers the fibre option....
are there costs on installation and what would your monthly costs look like

....Telkom have no fibre in our area yet.....nor in Sandton City where they are only now laying a network and in the process f@cking up pavements and traffic lights causing absolute hell....we had some private companies start laying fibre in our suburb but they seem to have gone bust....so now it costs more to get a connection....some come and say they will connect and give router equipment free if you take a 2year contract(but like cellular they f@ck you on the monthly)
.....private Fibre is now down to around R2000/month....but if and when Telkom come in it will be half....

Not sure whether the Telkom subscribers are aware, if you currently on a 2mb line, Telkom are at their cost, upgrading all their subscribers to a 4mb line, so don't pay to upgrade your line. The roll-out has started but i cannot say which areas it started in. If you want to check whether your area/line has been upgraded, check the properties on your modem - so I'm told. Mine is still at 2mbs.

Just to add, i also have a capped line, the problem with most uncapped lines, irrespective of service provider, they tend to "throttle" the download speed when they pick up that the user downloads a lot/often. With my current (capped) line, i watch both Youtube and on-line movie channels without buffering. The times the movie does channel does buffer is when there is more than one device connected to the modem.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

......true uncapped ADSL is throttled or as I have said choked.... as it is a pain in the neck.....I was hoping that when fibre is available .....all the flush folk in their multimillion houses in the suburb would move over and free up some of that ADSL choking....and I may not need to upgrade to fibre......but signs of our economic times .....those flush folk are not so flush and hence the private fibre failed because it was not even for them affordable....

4mbps line rental I see has gone up to R246 so total would be R445 now.8mbps total would be R599 now which should be fast enough but that is quite expensive now.Ya Muhtiman 2mbps line is definitely to slow.

You've got to be joking, the delayed feed of WSB is far inferior to Tellytrack, better still pay the R80-00 per month and get the lot.
