Your July winners (truth please)

Good morning and we are close to the BIG day, the race with all the drama, history , hype etc

Was just having a look at the previous winners in the computer form it starts in 1996 but it's a race where you can remember if you backed the winner.

This is my story

Before the list

Politician
Over the Air
Devon Air
Iilustrador (what a horse any distance)
Flaming Rock ( one of my favorite horses)
Space Walk ( I was a bookie and result changed)

The list

London News
Classic Flag
Dynasty
Greys Inn
Igugu

Good punting this year and highlight your winners or memories , so I have had 5 winners in the last 20years , so I gather times were easier in the old days ?

Bush Telegraph

Followed this horse ever since he won the objection against Main Man. Had a fortune of doubles into him, basically every bet I had in the 6 weeks running into the July included him.

As a lighty, saved ip R3 to put on a horse. On the day I was playing rugby for Union U20A . Halftime I heard it won....I played on with a happy heart...

After the game, bruised and batteted I walked the long walk home and my father told me the final result...

The horse I nacked was Gatecrasher .....

My very first bet, a losing one, was on the 1977 July - a R1 swinger on Lightning Shot (winner) and Politician (unplaced :-(). Even the best 3yo's lost in those years.

Winning July bets:
Spanish Galliard
Ipi Tombe
Pocket Power
Igugu

Also always found it a tough race, had far more success in the Met. My winners since 1996 were.
London News
Classic Flag
Ipi Tombe (My Favorite Win)
Igugu
Power King

I hope Dean can do it again for me with Mr Winsome.

I also find it hard to find the winner .

Think in 40 Years - Dynasty and Igugu are the only winners , normally run in the placings
